Will I Be Reprimanded for Seeking Benefits Assistance? – Immigration and Legal Advice
Benefits for Children
If you are applying for state benefits such as SNAP (food stamps) or Medicaid for your children, you will not be reprimanded for seeking these benefits as long as you do not falsify any information in the application.
Gold Card – Harris Health
Undocumented parents will not be reprimanded for seeking the Gold Card for their children. There is also currently no law stating that you will be reprimanded for applying for the Gold Card for yourself.
