PROMOTING POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH AND SELF SUFFICIENCY
For many Houston-area youth, making the transition from age 15 to 24 into adulthood can be very difficult.
Family Houston’s Young Adults on the Move program is designed to support and facilitate young adults’ transition to greater self-sufficiency through:
- personalized, one-on-one counseling,
- social opportunities,
- leadership training,
- youth peer support groups,
- parent/caregiver support groups, and
- resource connection to meet basic needs.
Young Adults on the Move is offered at no cost and no diagnosis is necessary. The program is for individuals 15-24 years old residing in Harris County. It is available in English and Spanish. To contact Young Adults on the Move, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 713-861-4849. Spanish language services available.
This program is generously funded by the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health. The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health advances mental wellness for the people of Texas as a strategic grantmaker and catalyst for change.
